The plot of an episode usually revolved around a Villain of the Week who is doing something like dealing drugs or robbing old people. The series had a reputation for being unerringly Anvilicious. Despite this, the series never lost its unique flavor, as Shatner always managed to serve up copious amounts of Ham and Cheese.
